[September 25, 2025] Foundation Update

This update is adding the foundation for a major update and regulatory compliance for Aurora Admin.

  • Laying the ground work for SMS compliance to increase notification delivery rate.

  • Users reported emails not being delivered or in spam. I changed the email provider and added a fallback. This should increase delivery rate and reduce emails being sent to spam.
  • Resent failed emails.

  • Added sub storm detector prototype. This will predict if there's a sub storm
  • Added notification system to alert subscribers if a sub storm is happening

[December 13, 2024]  Version 2.0 Released

  • Notification System Added: Users can now subscribe to updates. Users can either be called or texted when space weather reaches certain thresholds.
  • Complete overhaul of the code: Website is now faster to load.
  • Probability Score: A complex probability score has been added to the site. Users can use the dashboard to find the probability in their location. Using Kp alone is ineffective and lead to a lot of inaccuracies
  • [Improvement] Charts on the dashboard are now cleaner and more user friendly.
  • [Fix] Time zones now save in the database so you don't have to always update it.
  • [Fix] Kp now works
